GET IN TOUCH

At Hirsch, we believe that proper art presentation is a matter of aesthetics and conservation. Our goal, then, is simple: to design and build display solutions that serve to both visually enhance and protect works of art, so that they can be enjoyed for generations to come. Our process takes into consideration every aspect of the artwork, such as materials used, the intention of the artist and its present condition, as well as the particular needs and concerns of each client.

OUR APPROACH

Our reputation as one of the finest archival framers in New York City stems from our belief that every object we work with is precious. Whether it's your child's first painting project or a Modigliani drawing, we treat each piece with the same level of care and respect.

Archival Framing and Mounting

Archival framing and mounting is at the core of what we do at Hirsch. We use only the finest quality mounts and frames made with archival-grade materials. And every aspect of our process is designed to provide superior preservation and protection for each artwork that enters our studio.

Art Handling And Installations

Art installation is part art, part science. We must always consider the particularities of the space and the artwork, and how these elements factor in to the viewing experience we are looking to create. If we are installing in a public space, our chief concern is the safeguarding of the object without compromising its visual impact. If we are installing in a private space, we focus more on creating an intimate relationship between the artwork and the viewer.

Custom Projects

Simone’s edit: We love custom projects at Hirsch. The more unusual and out-of-the-box, the better! Over the years, we've been commissioned to display a wide variety of unconventional artworks and artifacts. While every custom project is wildly different, our underlying approach is always the same: to create a display solution that both visually enhances and protects the object at hand.
